The “thumb” above Port Louis, the island’s third-highest peak.
Le Pouce has wide views over Port Louis and the Moka Range. Charles Darwin climbed it in 1836. There are two routes: from Moka on the south side, which starts higher, and from Port Louis on the north side, which is longer with more shade and better views.
