What a private day tour includes
Every one of our Mauritius tours is private: your own air-conditioned car, just for your group, with a driver-guide who speaks English or French. We pick you up at your hotel around 08:30, depending on your coast, and drop you back in the late afternoon. A day tour lasts six to eight hours, so there’s time to stop, take photos and stay longer where you like it.
Which tour to choose
- Legendary South Tour: the Trou aux Cerfs crater, the sacred lake of Grand Bassin, the Seven Coloured Earth and the Chamarel Waterfall. The classic first tour of the island.
- Exotic North Tour: L’Aventure du Sucre, the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden and the Domaine de Labourdonnais. Sugar, gardens and colonial houses.
- Port Louis City Tour: the capital’s markets, streets and the Caudan Waterfront.
- Authentic Tea Route: the Domaine des Aubineaux, the Bois Chéri tea estate and the Domaine de Saint Aubin, through the green south of the island.

Good to know
The tour price covers the private car, your driver-guide and the hotel pickup and drop-off. Entrance fees, lunch and drinks are not included, so you choose where to eat and what to visit. Bring comfortable shoes, sun cream and a light jacket for the cooler, higher centre of the island.

How long is a day tour?
Six to eight hours. Pickup is around 08:30, depending on your coast, and we drop you back at your hotel.
Are entrance fees and lunch included?
No. Entrance fees, lunch and drinks are not included in the tour price.
Where do you pick us up?
At your hotel or villa, anywhere on the island.
Which languages does the driver-guide speak?
English or French.
Can we change the stops?
It's a private car, just for your group. Tell us what you'd like to change when you book and we'll tell you what fits in the day.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation charges depend on notice, 5% if more than 30 days before, up to 100% two days or less before, or for a no-show.
